Cetnaj History

Cetnaj was founded in Kempsey by current directors Martyn Richardson and John Connors in 1976, servicing electrical contractors throughout the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.

By 1990, Cetnaj had grown to encompass 7 branches and 50 staff, and by 1992, was reaching as far as Hornsby and Maitland, NSW with another 2 branches.  Cetnaj’s product range also developed to include lighting and opened the door to a more diverse customer base with the general public visiting stores to buy lights and fixtures for their homes.

In 2000, Cetnaj launched in Queensland, establishing the new Cetnaj Head Office in Brisbane This decade has also seen Cetnaj tapping into the Fibre & Data communications industry, offering an extensive range of products, auxiliary equipment and home automation products and services.

Since then, Cetnaj has grown to include 35 Australian branches; 2 bulk warehouses; 3 Cetnaj Stronglink data communications specialist branches in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne; and 3 branches in Auckland, New Zealand.

The four directors, Martyn and Roz Richardson and John and Cathy Connors, continue to oversee the expansion of Cetnaj Lighting ~ Electrical ~ Data while maintaining the great service tradition of their Australian owned and operated family business.

Queensland:

	Internal Sales - Enoggera
	We require a full-time, dynamic and self motivated Internal Salesperson at our Cetnaj Enoggera branch. The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of customer service especially in the areas of: counter sales, processing phone and faxed orders, product sourcing, quotations, backorder follow-up, customer and supplier liaison. Working in a team environment, you will have good communication skills, follow procedures, and be customer service focused. You should have sound computer literacy and good telephone manners. Electrical wholesaling and/or electrical trade experience would be an advantage but not essential. A current driver’s licence is necessary. 	Fibre & Data Internal Sales - South Brisbane
	Cetnaj Pty Ltd is a leading lighting, electrical and data wholesaler with more than 40 branches across NSW, QLD, and Victoria. We have an opportunity for full-time and self motivated Internal Sales person in our Cetnaj Stronglink Brisbane branch. The successful applicant will be responsible for liaising with trade and retail customers, promoting a wide range of Data and communication equipment and tools, along with raising purchase orders, maintaining stock levels and internal sales support.  You will work in a team environment, have good communication skills, follow procedures and be customer service focussed. You should have sound computer literacy and a good telephone manner. Trade sales experience and a current driver’s licence is essential. A remuneration package will be negotiated based on the applicant's experience. 	Counter Sales / Storeperson - Moree
	We require a full-time, dynamic and self motivated Counter Salesperson / Storeperson at our Cetnaj Moree branch. The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of customer service especially in the areas of: counter sales, processing phone and faxed orders, product sourcing, quotations, backorder follow-up, customer and supplier liaison as well as all aspects of inwards and outwards despatch, Working in a team environment, you will have good communication skills, follow procedures, and be customer service focused. You should have sound computer literacy and good telephone manners. Electrical wholesaling and/or electrical trade experience would be an advantage but not essential. A current driver’s licence is necessary. Electrolink

Cetnaj is a member of the CEW Group or as it is better known, the Electrolink Group.

Electrolink is a buying group with the prime objective of attracting competitive pricing for its members and in turn passing this benefit on to their customers. This beneficial purchasing would as a consequence allow these members to be competitive in the market place.

The group has grown in membership and turnover since its inception and we are now 85 stores strong in New South Wales, ACT, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania and Queensland.

The 'ELECTROLINK' publication was introduced in November 1996 as an avenue to advise and inform current and potential customers of our members. The name Electrolink has now been adopted for our group and our individual members will be known as ‘ELECTROLINK’

The Electrolink newsletter outlines specially priced products, as well as industry news and promotions. The newsletter is a full colour glossy publication and includes pictures and detailed descriptions of products. There are also tips, upcoming products and news about the industry.
